What I have been seeing is a lot of contractor rehabbed homes. Although these homes look great ascetically, I have been finding many defects not visible to the typical homebuyer. Just remember new paint, rugs and appliances are not the only things that make a great home. Properly installed electrical systems, heating systems, roofing and plumbing are equally if not more important.                                                                     These are all more reasons the get a Home Inspection.

Annual servicing of your heating system is essential in maintaining safe and efficient operating conditions for your heating system whether it be gas, oil, propane or electric heat.

All mechanical systems can and will fail at some point in their life. Hiring a licensed HVAC technician to clean, service and test your heater annually can help reduce the risk for mechanical failure. Also changing your air filter according to the filter’s specifications should be performed throughout the year.
